On 21 March, the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination is celebrated and Juventus reiterates its commitment to important issues such as inclusion, the fight against racism and discrimination.
Starting from today, Wednesday 21 March, the Juventus Museum is launching an educational workshop created specifically to teach and reflect on racial discrimination and human rights, linking the concept of "different from us" to give attendees a moment of personal growth, discovery and reflection.
This initiative, free of charge for all participants, will involve a total of about 90 students from some of the schools that took part in the "Gioca con Me" project.
Friday 23 March will see the children from the first, third and fifth grade of Juventus College attending another activity organised by Juventus in collaboration with "Polo of the '900", an innovative cultural centre in Turin aimed primarily at the younger generation and new citizens.
The goal of the path "From the racial laws to the Italian Constitution" will be to help the students to understand two crucial moments in the history of the 20th century, the enactment of racial laws in 1938, and the promulgation of the Italian Constitution in 1948 to encourage reflection on the fundamental rights and the freedom of people.
Finally, on the occasion of this important day, Juventus announce in partnership with UNESCO the launch of an online campaign that aims to encourage partners, players, supporters, young people and the general public to share testimonies on the power of football on social media.
The campaign will officially start on 6 April to mark the occasion of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace.
