Yesterday the party was started in Morocco as Medhi Benatia and the Lions of the Atlas qualified for their first World Cup since 1998 with a decisive 2-0 win away to Ivory Coast.
Nabil Dirar opened the scoring in the 25th minute while Benatia's flick from a corner in the 30th minute brough the score to a 2-0 lead that Morocco wouldn't relinquish. Congratulations to Medhi!
Elsewhere in international action, Paulo Dybala played the final few minutes of Argentina's 1-0 win away to Russia.
It's another big day on Sunday internationally for Juventus players as Mario Mandzukic and Croatia look to bring home a 4-1 advantage from the first leg against Greece while Stephan Lichtsteiner and Switzerland take a 1-0 advantage to Northern Ireland for the decisive second leg. Good luck, boys!
