International Recap | Italy reach Nations League semi-finals!

Italy are in the Nations League semi-finals, having confirmed their spot, topping Group 3 with a 2-0 win over Hungary last night and leapfrogging the hosts. Roberto Mancini's men were clinical and took the lead at the Puskas Arena on 27 minutes when the Azzurri capitalised on a poor backpass that saw Giacomo Raspadori score for the second-successive match. Early into the second half and Italy doubled their lead when Bryan Cristante was played in and he cut the ball across goal for Federico Dimarco to slot home.

Leonardo Bonucci played the whole match in Budapest, captaining Italy once more, who now advance to the semi-finals, alongside the Netherlands, Croatia and either Portugal or Spain.

TONIGHT'S FIXTURES

There are quite a few Bianconeri in international action tonight, and the only competitive bout will see Dusan Vlahovic's and Filip Kostic's Serbia go up against Norway in Nations League B Group 4 with both sides locked on 10 points and playing for promotion to Nations League A.

Elsewhere, Weston McKennie's USA face Saudi Arabia in a friendly, with Danilo's and Bremer's Brazil taking on Tunisia. In the early hours Angel Di Maria's and Leandro Paredes' Argentina take on Jamaica and finally Juan Cuadrado's Colombia play Mexico.
