Welcome back, Mark Pjaca!
The Croatian played his first official match of the season upon returning from injury, starting for the Primavera in a 1-0 win away to Milan. It was a memorable return for the 22-year-old as he scored the only goal of the match firing in a free kick from 20 yards out almost identical to strikes we've seen from Miralem Pjanic and Paulo Dybala this season.
"It was a very important test for me," he explains. "I wanted to see how I felt in a return and it was good. I'm happy with the goal, and especially I'm happy to be back! "
Pjaca played 55 minutes as he gradually works his way back to match fitness with an eye on contributing to the first team before too long.
"My fitness grows, training session after training sesson. I'm going to continue to work to return to my best."
