2023 for Juventus Women begins with two away games over a few days. The matches at Cittadella and Brescia kick off the hunt for the third Italian Cup in the club history. The Bianconere are the defending champions after defeating Roma in last year's final.
THE ROAD TO THE ITALIAN CUP 21/22
Last season Juventus Women lifted the trophy for the second time in their history. Below was the path that led the Bianconere to victory:

Juventus Women 1-0 Inter
Milan 1-6 Juventus Women
Juventus Women 5-3 Milan
Juventus Women 2-1 Roma
This year's tournament starts with the group stage, where Juve have been drawn to face Cittadella and then Brescia. Only the group winners qualify for the next round.
Both matches will be broadcast live on Juventus TV.
THE OPPOSITION
Cittadella are holding down fifth place in the standings in the Women's Serie B. The team from Veneto have collected 25 points in 12 games to keep in touch with the leaders. Lazio top the table on 29 points, follwed by Napoli on 27 and Ternana and Castelvecchio on 26. Brescia, on the other hand, are in seventh place on 18 points.
Cittadella's top scorer is Sofia Kongoulī, a Greek who has also turned out for Tavagnacco, Fiorentina (with whom she won the Super Cup in 2018 against Juve) and AGSM Verona. Luna Merli, on the other hand, is the player that has found the net most often for Brescia.
Cittadella defeated Brescia 2-0 in Group B's opening fixture in September.
