This sentence alone illustrates the immense enthusiasm shown by Juan David Cabal as he was presented to the media at the Allianz Stadium.
"What do they ask me in Colombia? That I send them shirts," jokes Juan, who adds, "For me and my family it is a dream to have joined one of the biggest teams not just in Italy, but in the world, because since I was a child I have always had a Juventus shirt. Now the dream continues, and it becomes that of being an important player for Juventus.
WHAT JUAN CAN BRING TO THE TEAM
"I want to give my best for Juve, and show my character as a person, on and off the pitch; I'm ready to do whatever the coach asks of me. My characteristics? In one word: 'resilient', I have fought and I am continuing to fight to achieve my dream; I have many Juventus role models, from Cuadrado to Alex Sandro, and I would like to become one of them.
JOINING A UNITED GROUP
"In the locker room there are some leaders, like the captain, but the great thing is that we are all united towards achieving the same goal and we are ready to work for it, and this makes us all leaders within the group. The coach told me to enjoy this experience, to work to become a better player but also to be myself: I'm convinced that Motta will help me understand myself better as a person, I was very impressed by his trust.
