Filled with beautiful victory in Reggio Emilia against Sassuolo, Juventus will be back tomorrow night on the field in the opening match of this weekend’s Serie A action against Frosinone at Allianz Stadium. Today, at the press conference, Massimiliano Allegri spoke on the match. "We have to think about beating Frosinone and taking home the three points. Winning means we are one less victory towards the Scudetto. Then we will think about the Champions League. Frosinone has had three away victories without conceding a goal. A victory tomorrow evening would give a further boost ahead of Wednesday’s fixture in Madrid. We have a strong and physical team right now and they are all very focused on the rest of the season, both in the League and in the Champions League. Starting tomorrow, a great series of games commence, coming thick and fast."
TOMORROW'S FORMATION
"Szczesny will be between the posts, with Bonucci in defence. Chiellini will be a doubt but if he has the chance he will play. Barzagli has been out for a while so he is unlikely to play. Rugani trained separately and had a little discomfort so he will be evaluated. If he does not recover, Caceres will play. The wide positions will be played between Spinazzola, De Sciglio and Cancelo. In the midfield, I still have to decide however Matuidi will most-likely be out. Dybala and Ronaldo will be in attack."
DYBALA’S NUMBERS
“Paulo has impressive numbers in the Juventus shirt: he has played 168 games scoring 74 goals. There may be a period where he scores fewer goals but he’s one of the best players out there. This year he has different players at his side to challenge him, but he is crucial for us."
THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
"First of all we must think about tomorrow and then move on to next week. Yesterday, Real Madrid had a great match against Ajax. Tottenham has grown a lot in recent years and can aspire to reach the semi-finals. There are seven or eight teams that have the potential to reach the top four.” VAR in Europe? “I'm happy because it's useful. Ajax’s ruled out goal in a normal situation would not have been allowed and would have been at the discretion of the referee. This season, it's different.”
THE JUVENTUS-MILAN FEMALE CHAMPIONSHIP
"A big good luck to the women. The championship is balanced, and it is close. Sunday will be a Scudetto match!”
