Three friendly matches against top-tier opposition as a test run for the start of the season. Juventus return to the United States this summer to face Deportivo Guadalajara, Barcelona and reigning European champions Real Madrid.

Three matches in three states, where Juventus will take to the field in three important venues.

ALLEGIANT STADIUM, LAS VEGAS

The first match of the US Summer Tour ‘22 will be held at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on 22 July (the early hours on 23rd considering CEST) against Deportivo Guadalajara. The ground holds 65 thousand plus spectators and is home to NFL team, the Las Vegas Raiders. Construction work on the stadium - which has a retractable roof and a synthetic playing surface - began in September 2017 and was inaugurated in summer 2020. What’s more, the Allegiant Stadium will host the Super Bowl in 2024.

COTTON BOWL, DALLAS

In the heart of Texas, in Dallas, Juventus will face Barcelona on July 26 (again the next day following CEST). Home to the match against the Blaugrana is the Cotton Bowl, a historic American complex built in 1930, and originally known as Fair Park Stadium. With a capacity of over 92 thousand spectators, the stadium earned its reputation as home to College Football matches, although it no longer hosts the Cotton Bowl Classic, from which it took its name. It was one of the key stadiums for the 1994 World Cup, hosting six games, including the quarter-final between Brazil and Netherlands, won 3-2 by the Selecao in one of the most memorable matches of World Cup USA ‘94.

ROSE BOWL, PASADENA

The third and final friendly on US soil is scheduled for July 30 (again the following day, 31st, for those following CEST) against European champions Real Madrid at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, on the outskirts of Los Angeles County. This stadium, recognised as a National Historic Landmark, has a capacity of over 90 thousand spectators and earned its fame as home to the post-season college football game from which it took its name.

As for soccer, it is one of the most decorated stadiums in the world, and was the scene when in July 1994 Italy lost on penalties to Brazil in the final of World Cup USA ‘94. The final Women’s World Cup in 1999 was also played there, as was the Copa America Centenario final.
