With three days to go until the Old Lady welcome Empoli to Juventus Stadium, Massimiliano Allegri’s troops intensified their preparations in Vinovo this afternoon for the upcoming Serie A encounter.
Despite sitting 13th in the table, the Azzurri, managed by Maurizio Sarri, have only lost three games away from home all season, proving a tough nut to crack on the road.
During today’s session Allegri put his returning international contingent, minus Roberto Pereyra and Carlos Tevez who featured for Argentina earlier this morning, through a fitness workout while the remainder of his troops also faced the Primavera in a training ground friendly.
Thursday sees the Bianconeri arrive back at Juventus Center for an afternoon sitting as they step up their workload ahead of Saturday’s Serie A action.
