Massimiliano Allegri has announced a 21-man squad for Wednesday’s Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against Inter (kick-off at 20.45 CET).
Giorgio Chiellini will not be available for the San Siro clash. Having exited the field of play during the first half of Juventus’ league win over the Nerazzurri on Sunday evening, the defender underwent tests today, which ruled out any muscle tear, instead revealing an overload of the soleus muscle in his right calf. Chiellini is due to return to action in approximately ten days.
Mario Mandzukic and Claudio Marchisio are also absent from Allegri’s travelling party. The Croatian forward is being rested, while midfielder Marchisio will remain in Vinovo to continue working towards his return to full training with the first-team on Thursday.
Allegri’s full selection for the trip to Milan is as follows:
1 Buffon
6 Khedira
7 Zaza
9 Morata
10 Pogba
11 Hernanes
12 Alex Sandro
15 Barzagli
16 Cuadrado

20 Padoin
21 Dybala
22 Asamoah
24 Rugani
