Accompanied by Technical Area Coordinator, Michele Cavalli and Assistant Coach, Giovanni Valenti, the Juventus Under-13s travelled to Dubai for the Intercontinental Football Cup taking the opportunity to also visit Juventus Academy Dubai.
The Under-13s were welcomed by Juventus Academy Dubai at the at the Sportsmania JTL facility, one of the Academy's four locations. Training activities were organised between the young Bianconeri, where they were able to share moments of fun and learning, as well as experience in more detail the Juventus training methods of which the Academy project is an ambassador throughout the world.
Next, the U-13s moved to the Gulf Heroes Sports Club, another of the Academy's facilities, to play a friendly match against a selection from the Juventus Academy Dubai. At the end of the game, the young players visited the area around the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest skyscraper located in the downtown area of Dubai.
Launched in September 2015, the Dubai Academy now has over 500 players involved, from over 46 different nationalities, and four active facilities, representing one of the biggest Juventus Academy projects in the world.
Also present during the day were coaches from Juventus Academy Abu Dhabi, which was recently inaugurated by David Trezeguet, and some members of Juventus Official Fan Club UAE, to witness the growth of the Juventus family in the United Arab Emirates, which followed the fifth UAE Juventus Day at Le Meridien Dubai.
