The Juventus Academy World Cup has made a welcome return.
Not satisfied only with the Training Experience Elite, which brought together 23 football-crazy children from all over the world, the Juventus Academy has organised the World Cup, which steps back on the pitch for the first time since 2019 in Turin and Valle d’Aosta.
The tournament, which runs until June 18, kicked off today with the opening ceremony.
A prestigious appointment for its importance and international appeal, this year, the third edition of the World Cup, will be different from the previous tournaments in terms of location, services and program.
For the first time, it will be held in the breathtaking landscape of Valle d’Aosta, in the specific venues of Aosta, Courmayeur and Pila.
The event involves 29 academies, attracting a total of over 1000 players, 150 coaches and 400 parents. On the playing side, there will be boys born between 2007 and 2012 and girls born in 2007 and 2008, from almost 30 academies from 22 different countries, including at least one for each continent - Tunisia, Egypt, Nigeria, U.A.E., Oman, Saudi Arabia, Cyprus, Hungary, Great Britain, France, Poland, Switzerland, Turkey, Malta, Colombia, Guatemala, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Australia, Canada and the United States.
It all kicked off on Tuesday 14 June with the opening ceremony at the Allianz Stadium, live streaming on our Facebook page (to be confirmed). The following three days, June 15-17, are entirely dedicated to the tournament itself, with the matched held at Montfleury and Gressan, Charvensod, Saint Pierre and Aymavilles, Villeneuve and Roisan, Morgex and Courmayer, on natural and synthetic pitches. Friday 17 is the day of the finals of the various categories, which will be played at a dream location: the JTC, the sports center of the First Team.
The Juventus Academy World Cup comes to an end on Saturday with the closing ceremony - held once again at the Allianz Stadium. The many countries involved are united by only two colours, black and white, bringing together over 1000 young people who all live for the same passion: football.
