Juventus has signed a technical agreement with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's Future Falcons programme, aimed at producing football excellence and developing emerging talents. The deal was penned at Juventus' headquarters, in the presence of Ghassan Felemban and Romeo Jozak, General Director and Technical Director of the Future Falcons programme, and Juventus President Gianluca Ferrero and CEO Maurizio Scanavino.
The technical agreement marks a fundamental step, both for the growth of Juventus youngsters and the development of players who are part of the Future Falcons programme, launched by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation as part of the 'Vision 2030' project.
For young Saudi talents, this sporting partnership will open the door to numerous opportunities, from intensive training sessions to friendly matches. At the same time, it will represent a great opportunity for our youngsters, who will have the chance to play in highly formative matches abroad.
WHAT THE PARTNERSHIP INCLUDES
The partnership also includes numerous collaborations: for example, training programmes for technical and administrative staff, support for technical and medical staff, and access to Juventus facilities, as well as the presence of Juventus observers and coaches at matches and training sessions of the Future Falcons Programme.
COMMENTS
Gianlica Pessotto said, “I think the main goal is the development of the players. I think it’s a great project because they put the players at the heart of it. We want to help them to develop their talent and to give them our knowledge and mix their knowledge with ours in order to add to the skills of the players. Anther goal is that it’s important for them to come to Italy, to Turin, to have intensive training sessions with us and at the end of the collaboration I think we’ll have done a great job. This is an ambitious program: they take care of not only football skills, but also the educational side. They have intensive programs during the week, and that’s also Juventus’ ambition. We think that, to develop talent, it’s not only important to think about the technical talent but also the educational aspects.”
Ghassan Felemban said, “We express our gratitude to Juventus: this collaboration will have a positive impact on the development of young talent. Our commitment to technical excellence and personal improvement, following the methodology of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, is continuous."
