Between Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 March 2025, the Juventus First Teams will be facing the same opponent in the league: Fiorentina. The Bianconere will take to the pitch on Saturday at 15:00 CET at the Pozzo-La Marmora Stadium in Biella for their third Poule Scudetto fixture, which corresponds to Matchday 21 of the Serie A season. The Bianconeri will play on Sunday at 18:00 CET at the Artemio Franchi on Matchday 29.

This is certainly a rare event, but not a one-off, as we have seen a similar occurrence on three previous occasions: on 17 January 2021 against Inter, on 26 and 27 February 2022 against Empoli and on 11 and 12 February 2023, again against Fiorentina.

This weekend, it will happen again – the only difference being that this time, Juventus Women will play at home and the men's team will play away.

So, we've decided to focus on this quirk of the calendars.

Cristiana Girelli

FIORENTINA-JUVENTUS WOMEN (11/02/2023)

Just over two years ago, it was a perfect afternoon for the Bianconere, who came away with a comfortable 3-0 away win in Florence.

It was a perfect afternoon because of the result but most importantly because of the collective performance from the Bianconere, who dominated this match from start to finish. The sweetest point came right at the end, in the 83rd minute to be precise: the Bianconere, leading 2-0, scored the third goal of the match and it was Cristiana Girelli who found the net, in doing so netting her 100th goal for the club, becoming the first – and currently only – Bianconera to reach the impressive milestone.

Adrien Rabiot

JUVENTUS-FIORENTINA (12/02/2023)

The day after Juventus Women's success in Tuscany, the Bianconeri also faced the Viola but at the Allianz Stadium.

It was a hard-fought match but the difference between the sides on the day was Adrien Rabiot's header shortly after the half-hour mark. The French midfielder skilfully took Angel Di Maria's ball and even Pietro Terracciano's desperate dive wasn't enough to keep his effort out, and goal-line technology having a hand in confirming the ball had crossed the line.
