The Street Child World Cup kicks off tomorrow in Doha, Qatar.
The 22 countries involved have brought 13 women's teams and 13 men's teams in total, ready to compete and have fun together in a unique event that is part of the ten-year anniversary of the club project Gioca con Me.
There are also a lot of stars and stripes in the black and white stripes. The US women's national team Juventus | Play with Me of SSUSA presented on 10 September in New York will in fact be represented by 10 players, aged 16-18, from the various national projects of SSUSA in the cities of New York, Memphis, Chicago and Washington.
From 2019 Street Soccer USA has collaborated with Juventus through “Gioca con Me”, the Bianconeri club project that aims to assist children from all over the world who find themselves at risk of marginalization.
The tournament gets underway tomorrow when the United States face India, Mexico and Zimbabwe in the group stage. The next day Peru and Bangladesh provide the opposition.
The finals are scheduled for October 14-15.
