Sergio Marchionne passed away in Zurich this morning.
Born in Chieti in 1952, Marchionne was the managing director of the FIAT Group since 2003, then Fiat Group Automobiles.
Marchionne served as CEO of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, chairman of CNH Industrial, president and CEO of Ferrari Spa, vice president of Exor Spa and advisor to the Giovanni Agnelli Foundation.
These are some of the responsibilities he took on during his distinguished career, but Marchionne has been and will be remembered above all as a colossus within the world of business, both in Italy and beyond, thanks to his extraordinary vision and unquestionable talent.
Juventus remembers Marchionne with immense fondness and joins in mourning his passing by dedicating a special thought to his family and all those who were close to him.
