Juventus and Aldo Mazzia have been bound together by a long journey, full of success. Now, after 12 years working with us, the CEO and CFO is to depart for pastures new.
During his spell with the Bianconeri, Mazzia has seen first hand the changes that the club has experienced on and off the pitch, becoming an example for Italian football to follow while adopting a modern and global outlook. Thanks to this evolution the club is now renowned and respected all over the world.
Mazzia took a position on the Board of Directors in November 2006. On 1 April 2011, he became the club’s Chief Financial Officer and on 11 May 2011, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer.
The CFO and CEO has maintained a modern approach to the role, with an eye towards the future. During his time in the position the club has opened its own modern football arena, Allianz Stadium. Other significant innovations during the period include the state-of-the-art J|Medical centre, which opened in 2016 close to the stadium’s east stand.
The club inaugurated its new headquarters in 2017 at the Cascina Continassa, following the complex’s redevelopment. The following summer, just a stone’s throw away, the brand-new Juventus Training Centre was opened, where the first-team squad trains every day. These are some of the features of a broader and more ambitious project, still being completed, dubbed J Village. The site comprises the WINS International School, which has been opened and is operational, and will soon feature the Concept Store and J Hotel, as well as other pieces of urban development work.
All these developments have been spearheaded by the CFO and CEO. So, as his story with the club comes to a close, Juventus would like to offer its heartfelt thanks to Aldo Mazzia.
