Derby Day is fast-approaching, as city arch-rivals Juventus and Torino do battle for bragging rights in the latest instalment of the Derby della Mole.

It’s a fixture the Bianconeri have not lost in over eight years, with the home side looking to put the Granata to the sword once more in their 18:00 CEST clash on Saturday afternoon.

Ahead of the big clash at the Allianz Stadium, here’s five pre-Derby facts to peak your interest:

DERBY DOMINATION | It’s the 157th league Derby between Juventus and Turin, with the Bianconeri leading the head-to-head stats with 76 victories compared to Torino’s 35, with 45 encounters ending in a draw. Juve are unbeaten in the last 18 Turin derbies, last suffering defeat in April 2015.

SURE SCORE | Juventus have scored in 24 games in a row against Torino in Serie A, the Bianconeri’s longest consecutive scoring streak of matches against any opponent in the Italian top-flight. The last time Juventus failed to register a goal in the Derby della Mole dates back to a goalless draw in February 2008.

CENTENARY LOADING | Should Manuel Locatelli take to the field, it will be his 100th match in a Juventus shirt, considering all competitions – the first time he reaches this milestone among all clubs he has represented in his career. The midfielder has fond Derby memories, scoring just his second goal for Juve in his side’s 1-0 victory on 2 October 2021.

SPECIAL FEAT | Federico Chiesa has been involved in five goals (four assist and one goal) in his last seven matches against Torino in Serie A. Another goal against the Granata would see him level on the same number of goals his father Enrico scored against Torino in Serie A.

AERIAL THREAT | Weston McKennie's first goal in Serie A came against Torino in December 2020. Furthermore, five of his nine goals in Serie A have come from headers, and all at home (including the one against the Granata). Since his debut in Serie A in the 2020/21 season, Weston has been the midfielder with the most headed goals in home matches in the competition.
