As the dust settled from Sunday's Scudetto triumph, the Juventus Women returned to Continassa as the Champions of Italy set for a media day and training on Wednesday afternoon. Here's a few highlights of what the Bianconere had to say:
MARTINA ROSUCCI
For me, winning the Scudetto with the shirt of my heart is an incredible emotion and probably something that I could not think in my distant dreams," said the Juventus and Italy midfielder. "We had a difficult time in April, but in suffering you learn who you really are. We managed to get up and win a Scudetto that we deserved more than any other team."
"We faced the difficult times head-on, working and talking every day looking into each other's eyes and saying what was needed but the turning point was the work on the field. We told each other to keep going how we had for the whole season without focusing too much on the mistakes but what we have done well. When you win 17 games in a row, there had to be plenty of positives to build off of."
MARTINA LENZINI
"The first time I realized I could enter the Juventus world, when I first came to Vinovo I looked like a child in an amusement park. I was ecstatic, when my contract was signed I was shaking," said Lenzini. "What is it like to wear this shirt? A bit of pressure, but we are used to that, playing in the national team. However it is an honor to represent your favorite team."
SANNI FRANSSI
"Next year there will be the Women's Champions League which will be an interesting and fascinating adventure. We have never played international matches at Juventus but I am very confident about what we can do."
