Lisa Boattin was one of the star performers for Juventus Women in the 4-0 victory against Res Roma on Serie A's second matchday. The winger got herself on the scoresheet from the penalty spot in what was Juventus Women's first ever home league fixture. Her good early form has even been recognised with a call-up to the Italian national team!
BIANCONERI EMOTION
"When I found out this summer that I was going to Juventus, I was very excited. Wearing this shirt is a dream come true for me.
"My rapport with the manager, Rita Guarino, is excellent. We know each other from the national team. When she coaches you, she speaks to you a lot to make sure that you are involved in every aspect."
FIRST GOAL FOR JUVENTUS WOMEN
"I was very tense before knocking in the penalty against Res Roma, because I had made a mistake the previous week against Atalanta-Mozzanica. I wanted to redeem myself and repay the faith shown in me to the team. I'm happy for my goal, but above all else I'm happy that we were successful in the match. Our goal is to win!"
A TRICK I WOULD LOVE TO DO...
"I would love to be able to pull off an 'elastico' during a match. I saw Douglas Costa do it for the men's team and I was very impressed with the execution."
