The goals have been hitting the back of the net at a rarely seen pace for the Bianconeri to begin the 2017/18 Serie A season with Juventus scoring 31 goals through the first ten matches. Here are some numbers to dive a little deeper into the offensively prolific start:
-31 goals through ten matches is the most in a Serie A season since Juventus in the 1951/52 season. That's a span of over 65 years!
-The 31 goals are nine more than any of the previous six Scudetto-winning seasons with Juve scoring 22 through the first ten matches in 2012 and 2013.
-Paulo Dybala leads the way with 11 goals while Gonzalo Higuain is second with four strikes.
-Ten players have scored for Juve in Serie A which is second only to Napoli(11).
-Juve leads Serie A with seven players who have scored at least two goals in the league this year.
-Miralem Pjanic leads the team in assists with six while Gonzalo Higuain is second with three.
-16 goals have been scored with the left foot, eight scored with the right foot, five headers and two own goals.
-The 25 points earned through ten matches are the second-most since the start of the Scudetto-winning streak in 2011 with the Bianconeri earning 28 points through ten matches in 2012.
-The +21 goal difference is the best through ten matches during the streak with the next-best total a +17 difference in 2012.
