Manicone stars in the Allievi’s 2-2 draw with Vicenza

Carlo Manicone took centre stage as his double ensured a 2-2 draw for Felice Tufano’s Allievi Nazionali in this afternoon’s encounter away at Vicenza.

During a match serving as Juventus’ game in hand, the visitors went behind to Alberto Paiolo’s early opener before Manicone equalised on 10 minutes.

The youngster then converted a penalty just shy of the half hour mark to put the Bianconeri in front, only for Vicenza to peg them back courtesy of Davide Massaro’s finish.

Today’s result means Tufano’s troops have drawn level alongside arch-rivals Torino on 40 points at the summit of the league standings and they will look to overtake the Granata with a win away at Sassuolo on Sunday.
