This week begins a crucial period for the Bianconeri who play Napoli and Inter in the next two Serie A matches and tonight at the Gran Gala del Calcio AIC event in Milan, Juventus CEO and General Manager Sport, Giuseppe Marotta spoke to the media:
"The challenge against Napoli will undoubtedly be a big one, but it won't be a decisive result for the championship," said Marotta. "A positive outcome would go down very well. We are aware of the effort required on the night and will show maximum honor to the test at hand, even though we are not in top form right at this moment in time.
"We respect Napoli, but we do not fear them. Then we will go to Athens, which is a decisive match in the group."
Meanwhile, there is no timetable for Gonzalo Higuain's recovery: "He had the operation today and no completely accurate forecast can be made."
One player who has returned to full fitness is Claudio Marchisio: "He had a serious injury and has returned. He's now reaching his optimum level and will be another important option available to Allegri."
