Maurizio Scanavino, Chief Executive Officer of Juventus, had this to say before the match against Napoli:
"Tonight's match is very important, let's hope it's a good show. Napoli is a team that is doing very well in the championship and is in form, and they're up against a Juventus team that has the 15 points back, and is now third on the table. We are very satisfied that our appeal has been accepted by the Collegio di Garanzia and we expect that from this point of view there will be no more negative surprises: we are waiting to know the reasons, in the coming weeks, to understand if we should expect further sporting penalties or not. We are also happy that our appeal regarding the closure of the Tribuna Sud has been accepted, matches like these deserve a full stadium. Juventus is at the forefront in the management of these events, thanks to our technologies we were able to immediately identify and report the two perpetrators, who will suffer the appropriate sanctions. Juventus is at the forefront of the fight against racism and at the forefront of all ESG strategies aimed at combating this phenomenon.
"These four months have been complicated, I have to congratulate all the players, Allegri and the staff, who have been able to stay focused. Juve are built to win and now, four months later, we find ourselves in third place, with the aim of grabbing second, and with two very important finals to reach and win."
