“I always want to see us like this. We were dominant from the first minute and made the most of the work done during the week. I have to congratulate the girls - they were excellent.

“In modern football you can’t just think about who starts games, you have to make the most of the whole squad. You all play together and everybody is important, even the players who come off the bench and can impact the game from there. We have to work to always be ready.

“I’m happy to have such a high-level squad and I can play any of the girls and be calm about it.

“Today we prepared well by reading our opponent, everybody did their job well.

“Arianna Caruso is having a good time. She’s playing with a smile on her face and we’re seeing that she’s a really high-level player. She can still grow further and I hope she continues to do so.”

“Today the whole team was unstoppable. I’m so happy with the performance and with the three points. We have to keep working well, looking forward and taking things game by game.

“The game against Roma didn’t end our season. We wanted a reaction like that and our goal is always to win.

“My role? I do what the coach asks of me. I think the dynamism of our midfield helps a lot, and I go forward when I have the chance to. It’s hard to explain in words what I want to give to the team, but as long as there’s running to do for Juventus then I’ll do it, even beyond 90 minutes.”

Lindsey Thomas

“I’ve always put myself at the disposal of the team since I’ve been here and today I reaped the rewards. I’m really happy.

“The coach can play me for five, 20 or 45 minutes and I’ll always be there to help the team. Today I’m delighted with by two goals and the win.

“It’s hard to say in which area of the pitch we were at our best today. We were a bit more clinical up front, but it’s a team effort and we all played our part. It’s a team victory, today more than ever.

“My celebration was simply to say that I’m calm, and I’ll keep working.”
