Timely organisation, a welcoming environment, efficient facilities, entertainment and proximity to the pitch – Juventus Stadium offers all that and more as part of a unique matchday experience.
Of course safety is a very important consideration at the ground, as supporters can only really enjoy the show if they feel secure. That’s why, ever since the stadium opened, careful, thorough checks have been a constant. Now, ahead of our season opener against Fiorentina, new technology has been implemented to further enhance the process.
New walk-through metal detectors have been fitted to the turnstiles at the North stand, which will save time and reduce congestion, whilst ensuring the same high standards of safety.
This is a first in Italy and comes on the back of the recent experience at the European championships in France and in the United States, where, as of this season, the use of this technology has become mandatory in all baseball and American football arenas.
Walk-through metal detectors will also be gradually fitted in the other areas of Juventus Stadium, where for the time being security checks will continue as per the procedure used in recent seasons.
Juventus Stadium has also been kitted out with a new closed-circuit television platform, taking the facility into the digital age.
Elsewhere, two new Multifocal Sensor System video cameras have been set up. This cutting-edge technology not only allows the club to film any potential incidents in the stadium but also to very accurately identify those responsible.
More precise checks will also be possible in the visiting section, thanks to two new Full HD digital television cameras.
