The fifth episode of the journey to discover the Bianconeri's Next Gen talents catches up on Christopher Lungoyi at Ascoli.
Born in 2000, Christopher is an all-round striker with physical prowess, good dribbling skills and deft ball control - characteristics that make him a complete player.
After a series of experiences around Europe, between Servette, Porto, Lugano and San Gallo, the Swiss striker of Congolese origins is now making waves in Italy.
Juve signed him outright in January 2021, when he was loaned back out in Switzerland, first at Lugano and then at San Gallo. In July he arrived at Ascoli, where he is leaving a lasting impression.
Eight appearances and a goal, against Parma, so far. Also at the weekend Christopher put on a good performance against Venezia, proving key in the 2-0 victory at the Penzo stadium, where he also caused the sending off of the home goalkeeper.
Over and above his first goal in Serie B, a few days ago he also earned a penalty kick, essential for the 2-1 victory over Cagliari.
Keep it up, Christopher!
