Milan-Juventus is a match that has gone down in history, full of players that have left their mark in one of the classics of Italian football.
Here are some of the Juventus players that have stood out at San Siro, starting with Filippo Inzaghi, in the background photo, just as he scores in season 1997/98 in a match that ended 1-1.
GONZALO HIGUAIN
El Pipa, who has just communicated his intention to hang up his boots, has united fans that have appreciated his goal-scoring prowess throughout his career. In this photo, he turns to acknowledge the Bianconeri support in Juve's 2-0 win over Milan in season 2017/18. A match that he dominated over and above scoring the game's only two goals.
The following season Higuain would wear the shirt of the Rossoneri before returning to Turin.
ALESSANDRO MATRI
One of the most important goals in Alessandro Matri's career. His finish tied the game at 1-1 in a showdown between Milan and Juventus in season 2011/12 which was nothing short of a title decider.
Partially hidden in the photo by Thiago Silva, Alessandro came through the Milan academy. He made his senior debut with the Rossoneri, a club he would return to, just as he did with Juve, where he also enjoyed two spells.
CHRISTIAN VIERI & PIETRO VIERCHOWOD
One of the most memorable photos of the Milan-Juventus that was played on 6 April 1997 sees two players that appeared on both sides. Christian Vieri played a key part in the 6-1 thrashing by Marcello Lippi's team by signing a double. Bobo then played for Milan the following decade, in season 2005/06.
Attempting to stop the striker is Pietro Vierchowod, who the previous season had made his contribution to the Lady's conquest of the Champions League.
PAOLO ROSSI
The above photo shows Paolo Rossi in action in Milan-Juventus from season 1983/84. The Bianconeri won 3-0 with Pablito's name on the scoresheet. He would score again the following year before switching clubs to spend the following season as part of the Rossoneri frontline.
ROBERTO BAGGIO & SERGIO PORRINI
Another memorable Milan-Juventus was played in season 1994/95, when the Bianconeri dominated at San Siro, running out 2-0 winners.
In the side that was heading towards the Scudetto was Roberto Baggio, destined to move to Milan at the end of this season, and Sergio Porrini, who grew up in the Rossoneri youth sector without ever turning out for the first team.
