Seventeen years ago to the day, on 23 August 1997, the Bianconeri lifted their second Italian Super Cup courtesy of a 3-0 win over Vicenza.

The triumph crowned a perfect calendar year for Juventus, who had sealed Scudetto, UEFA Super Cup and Intercontinental Cup successes during the 1996/97 campaign.
