Ahead of Saturday's early kick-off, here's ten things to know about this weekend's opposition.
- Frosinone have lost all eight Serie A matches played against teams occupying the top two positions in the standings at the start of the round, without ever finding a way to score and always conceding at least two goals per game: 23 in total, for an average of 2.9 goals conceded per match.
- In the last seven league games, Frosinone has never repeated the same result two games in a row (2W, 1D, 4L), recording a defeat against Lecce in their most recent tie.
- Frosinone has remained unbeaten in their last seven home games in the league (W5, D2); joining Juventus and Bologna as the only teams in Serie A not to suffer defeat in this period. Only Juventus (20), Bologna (19) and Milan (18) collected more points than the Canaries (17) in front of their home fans.
- Frosinone is, along with Napoli, one of the two teams to have hit the woodwork the most in this season (10).
- Only Roma and Frosinone (12) have more different goal scorers than Juventus (11) so far this campaign.
- Frosinone is the team that has fielded the most players born from 2000 onwards (13) in the 2023724 campaign - Juventus has used 10 instead. The average age of the players fielded by Frosinone, including the substitutes, is 24 years and 210 days, the lowest in Serie A.
- Matías Soulé has participated (total shots + chances created) in 72 shots this season: fewer only than Matteo Politano (73) and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (77), but at least 50 more than any other Frosinone player (Luca Mazzitelli, 22). The Argentine made his first 15 Serie A appearances for Juventus, across the 2021/22 (two games) and 2022/23 seasons (13).
- Last season Enzo Barrenechea played three games for Juventus in Serie A, all as a starter, and won all three, while in the 2021/22 season, Kaio Jorge played nine games, all as a substitute, with the Juventus shirt in Serie A.
- Anthony Oyono is the only Frosinone player used in all his side’s league matches so far this season(16). The full-back has been involved in one goal this season, an assist against Genoa at the end of November.
- Among the players who have scored at least one goal and provided at least one assist in Serie A, Arijon Ibrahimovic (11/12/2005) is the youngest.
