Matchday 26 sees Juventus line up against Frosinone in Sunday's lunchtime kick-off at the Allianz Stadium, with the Bianconeri looking to get back to winning ways after going four matches without victory.
They will however come up against a side they have never lost to, and a team they have already faced twice this season, emerging 2-1 winners away in Serie A's first round tie in December, before dispatching the Giallazzurri 4-0 in January's Coppa Italia quarter-final.
Frosinone have been struggling themselves of late with just one win in their last five encounters, and currently sit 15th in the Serie A standings.
Ahead of Sunday's 12:30 CET match-up, here's ten things to know about the Ciociari.
- Frosinone got their very first point in Serie A against Juventus, drawing 1–1 at the Allianz Stadium on 23 September 2015.
- The Giallazzurri are one of the two teams with the most games played at 12.30pm this season: five, equal with Monza. However, the Ciociari have only collected four points in these matches (1W, 1D, 3L), losing the two away matches against Cagliari (4-3) and Fiorentina (5-1).
- Frosinone has obtained 23 points so far this season (W6, D5, L14), just two less than in their entire previous season played in Serie A (25 in 2018/19); however, since the beginning of December, they are one of two teams that have lost the most matches (nine, like Salernitana) and the one that has conceded the most goals (31) in the competition.
- The Giallazzurri have not kept a clean sheet in their last 10 league matches, conceding 28 goals in total (2.8 per match) and at least three in each of the last three matches played in the competition.
- Frosinone (50%: 16/32) is the only team to have scored at least half of their goals from dead ball situations this campaign.
- Matías Soulé (10 goals) is one of only two players born from 2003 onwards to reach double figures this season in Europe's top five leagues, alongside Jude Bellingham (16 goals).
- Abdou Harroui is the only player in the Frosinone squad to have beaten Juventus on more than one occasion in Serie A – he has two victories in four matches against the Bianconeri, both with the Sassuolo shirt (although totaling just 54 minutes on the field).
- Stefano Turati has made 53 saves on shots coming from inside the penalty area this championship, fewer only than Wladimiro Falcone (56) and Pietro Terracciano (57).
- Matías Soulé (15 appearances and one goal between 2021 and 2023), Enzo Barrenechea (three appearances in 2022/23) and Kaio Jorge (nine appearances in 2021/22) all made their Serie A debuts for Juventus, under the guidance of Massimiliano Allegri.
- Among the teams against which Eusebio Di Francesco has always lost away from home in Serie A, Juventus is the one he has faced the most times: seven, tasting defeat on the benches of Sassuolo (4), Roma (2) and Cagliari (1).
