The first Derby della Mole of season 2022/2023 season is set to kick off tomorrow, Saturday 15 October, at 18:00 CEST at the Olimpico Grande Torino stadium.

The Bianconeri are on 13 points, two more than their city rivals, who have also collected three wins so far.

With their 11 points, Torino have the same total as at the same stage last season, having lost four matches to Juve's two.

CURRENT FORM

Torino avoided a fifth league defeat last weekend thanks to a last-minute goal that salvaged a draw at home to Empoli. Toro come into the derby on the back of four defeats from their previous six outings, against Atalanta, Sassuolo, Inter and Napoli.

The only win in the recent run of matches was a narrow victory over Lecce in Matchday 5, their only home win this campaign. In fact, at the Grande Torino, the Granata have collected only two victories from their previous 12 games, losing five of them.

However, Torino remain one of the four teams in Serie A not to have dropped a point once having taken the lead.

THE COACH I IVAN JURIC

Ivan Jurić is in his second season in charge of Torino. Last season under the guidance of the Croatian coach, they finished in mid-table with 50 points on the board after two seasons in which the Granata flirted with relegation

The 13 victories was the tactician's biggest haul in Serie A after previously sitting in the dug-out at Hellas Verona and Genoa, the side he played for most in the top-flight.

In the summer the squad underwent many changes. Two key players that departed were captain Andrea Belotti, who joined Roma on a free transfer, and Bremer, now Bianconero.

Bremer wanted to leave last year but still won the Serie A Best Defender award. He went to Juve, the right choice for his career. Ivan Jurić, Torino Coach

THE PLAYER TO WATCH OUT FOR | NIKOLA VLAŠIĆ

Nikola Vlašić arrived in the summer on loan from West Ham United and under the guidance of his fellow Croat, has settled in immediately.

The forward is Torino's top scorer with three goals. What's more, he has created the highest number of scoring chances for his team-mates, 15, and attempted more shots, 22, than his teammates.

Also, only Ciro Immobile and Tammy Abraham have hit more shots on target than Vlašić this Serie A campaign.
