Juventus suffered only their second Serie A loss of the season after Jose Mauri’s sweet second-half strike ensured a 1-0 win for Parma in Emilia-Romagna on Saturday evening.
Despite dominating proceedings throughout, the Bianconeri, who had not tasted defeat since narrowly succumbing 1-0 to Genoa back in October, could not find their way past a Gialloblu outfit currently battling relegation.
The league leaders unleashed significantly more shots on goal compared to the hosts (19-9), but a combination of Juventus youth graduate shotstopper Antonio Mirante's saves and Parma's resolute defending prevented them from taking another significant step towards the Scudetto title.
