Four goals scored and a match dominated by the Bianconeri. Juve's growth process quickly continues and the victory against Ferencváros is the clearest proof of this. At the end of the match, Mr. Pirlo, captain Chiellini and Alvaro Morata, star of the evening in Budapest, commented on the team’s performance. These are their statements:
ANDREA PIRLO
“Sometimes matches become easy thanks to us, we started well, then we relaxed a bit in the first half, slowing down the pace and managing when we had to accelerate. We did better in the second half and pushed harder. The score should not deceive us, the gap was considerable, but it gives us confidence and now it would be important to provide a good performance also in Rome against Lazio.”
GIORGIO CHIELLINI
“We are satisfied with the result, but we could have done better as a game. We made a few too many mistakes, also due to the fact that the match was going downhill, but we need to improve. We have to make the right choices and be less selfish, close games earlier, be more aggressive and follow the insertions with the midfielders.”
ALVARO MORATA
“We are happy with the three points obtained, it is important to have won two games after a period of adaptation, but we know we can still improve a lot. If we continue like this we can go far. I feel good, more complete, I am no longer 20 and what I have experienced in my career has helped me to grow. I have everything I need, I feel appreciated and I have great companions.”
