Massimiliano Allegri, Federico Gatti - after his first goal in Serie A - and Arkadiusz Milik comment on Juventus' 2-0 victory over Torino in the Derby della Mole.

MASSIMILIANO ALLEGRI

“We played a very mature match. In the first half we expected an aggressive Torino, but once we had their measure, we kept our shape and were able to contain them. Fabio Miretti did a good job, in the second half by having Arek Milik and Kenan Yildiz we tried to change the game and so it happened. I'm happy with the boys' growth. We must continue like this. However, we certainly still have ample room for improvement. Tonight we defended well as a unit, without conceding, but our ball management could have been better. The fans? We felt their enthusiasm. The stadium must always be like this, we need it. It is fundamental for us. Now there is the break, many players will go to the national team and we are happy about that. When we return, another beautiful match against Milan awaits us."

FEDERICO GATTI

“Scoring my first goal in Serie A in a derby was simply emotional. I am of the opinion that everything pays off, I have never given up. The mistakes helped me grow, today we brought home the three points without conceding a goal, once again. There is a desire to all fight together, we are a great group and today was a very important victory, especially in such a heartfelt match. We were good at controlling it from start to finish, even when they brought on the three attackers, but it was a great performance from everyone. Whoever came in from the bench gave us a big hand."

AREK MILIK

“We are really happy after this victory. Winning a derby is always nice. My goal was certainly very important because it helped us be more calm. It allowed us to better manage the pace of the game and control the match. I'm happy to have contributed to this success. I wasn't in top condition, so the choice was to have me start on the bench. The team, however, has shown that it is strong and this victory is very important. The standings? We focus only on ourselves, we don't look at others. It's the only way to do well."
