Less than three days after concluding their league campaign as runners-up in the Final Eight playoff, Juventus’ Primavera return to action this evening for their final playing commitments of the season in the “Angelo Dossena” tournament, taking place in Cremasco, Lombardy between tonight and Sunday 12 June.
Fabio Grosso’s young guns will face Atalanta, Nazionale Lega Pro and Inter over the next three days, while Milan, Valencia, Torino and Cremonese battle it out in the competition’s other group. The semi-finals are set to be contested on Saturday, with the final scheduled for Sunday evening at 21.00 CEST at the Stadio “Voltini” di Crema.
This represents the Bianconeri’s fourth ever appearance in the 39-year-old “Angelo Dossena” tournament, having taken part in 1982, 1994 and 1999.
