Juventus.com speak to Official Fan Club Colombia in our fourth interview with global Official Juventus Fan Clubs. Press Officer, Miguel Olano answers all the need to know questions on the Colombian Bianconeri fan club.
1. When was Official Fan Club Colombia formed?
Our group was born six years ago, on 25 February 2012. The match Juve played against Milan at the San Siro was the first we watched together as a group, we have become a big Bianconeri family in Colombia since then.
2. What made you start following Juventus?
When I was young I saw Alessandro Del Piero score a great goal against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League and it made me feel very emotional, and then I decided to follow the team. The channels here started to show Serie A matches, and I started to fall in love with the team more and more until it became a lifestyle for me, giving me a family of friends with whom I share this great love.
3. Why did you decide to create a Juventus Official Fan Club?
I met our president, Sebastian Ramirez in the cafeteria of our university, whilst we were watching a Derby d'Italia. We talked about our passion for Juve and how we could organise ourselves to meet other Juventini in the city. We knew about the Official Juventus Fan Clubs, and we decided, along with other fans to become the first Official Fan Club of Latin America. We have been able to help other Juventus fans here realise their dream of going to Italy to watch Juventus play, and are infinitely proud of what we have achieved.
4. Where do Official Fan Club Colombia meet to watch matches?
We actually four different places across the country, in the capital, Bogota there is 'Good Game', where we actually celebrated our sixth anniversary watching the Netflix documentary, First Team: Juventus. We also eat pizza there and have organised a football videogame tournament where first prize was a Juventus football.
We meet also in Barranquilla at 'El Embajador', in Medellin at 'Licores de la 50' and finally in Bucaramanga at 'Monkey Bar'. We are represented in all the major cities in our country where we have fans that all share the same passion for the Bianconeri.
5. What is the atmosphere like at Official Fan Club Colombia?
It's an incredible atmosphere, every Bianconero is treated like a brother or sister, and so this group has become like a big family. We have experienced many incredible moments together and been on exciting trips, we are a family, together we are Juventus!
6. Have you ever been to Turin to watch a Juventus game, and if so what are your memories?
I've been a few times to Turin, of which I have wonderful memories. I was there to celebrate our second Quinquennio, and this season I went to our game against Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League. I also went to the TIM Cup final in Rome in 2016 when Morata scored the winner.
7. Who are your favourite Juventus players?
Past players would be Gaetano Scirea, Pavel Nedved and Alessandro Del Piero. Today, our captain Gigi Buffon, Paulo Dybala and of course our very own, Juan Cuadrado, whose achievements fill us with pride.
8. What is your favourite moment as a Juventus fan?
My favourite moment is the day when we became #LEGEND and won six consecutive championships.
9. What is your favourite Juventus goal of all time?
The one by Del Piero against Borussia Dortmund in the 1995/96 Champions League, it was a goal that changed my life forever.
10. Are Official Fan Club Colombia planning any trips to Turin soon?
In May we have Fan Club members going to Rome for the TIM Cup final and also for the last game of the Serie A season, I hope that they will get to see them lift both trophies!
11. How can a Juventus fan in Colombia become a member of the Official Fan Club?
