Tomas Rincon couldn't hide his joy after helping Juve reach the Coppa Italia final courtesy of a 5-4 aggregate victory over Napoli.
“We're delighted to go through because reaching the final was one of our objectives,” the midfielder admitted after the final whistle in Naples.
“We knew it was going to be tough and Napoli came to life at a certain point of the game but we played well and saw it out.
“Now we're focused on Saturday because that's another game we must win. After that we can think about Barcelona and we're expecting two very intense matches against them. We'll need to try and keep them off the ball as much as possible.”
Rincon was one of a clutch of changes made to the starting line-up on Wednesday night as Massimiliano Allegri looked to utilise his squad to maximum effect.
“I was ready to step in – I have been ever since I arrived, aware of the fact there are loads of world-class players here," Tomas added.
“The boss asked me to push up today, play with vigour and stick close to Sami [Khedira].
“As for that chance I missed, I set myself up for the shot but the ball bounced up quicker than I expected. I should have controlled it...”
