Running in the rain

Following a two-day rest granted by Massimiliano Allegri in the wake of Sunday’s 1-0 victory over Genoa, Juventus returned to work this afternoon at Juventus Center.

The international break meant the manager had a significantly reduced group of players at his disposal, with 13 first-team internationals currently on duty with their respective countries.

Today’s session, conducted in driving rain, was purely fitness focused. The ball is expected to make an appearance when the Bianconeri resume their build-up to next Saturday’s clash with Empoli tomorrow afternoon.
