The bond between Sara Gama and the Juventus Women has strengthened once again. The captain, who after an extraordinary 2021, has put pen to paper to extend her contract until 2024, only adding further pages to her Juventus novel.
Sara has been a pillar of the team since day one, when very few could have imagined what was about to be built. In this Bianconera project, that has only grown bigger and more successful, she has always been at the forefront, both on and off the pitch, with that tight band around her arm representing a mission she has fulfilled with all of her being. But what’s important to note, is that her desire to keep chasing that mission is still strong.
Since guiding the team from the back, a total of eight trophies have been swung aloft with Juve so far, while she has turned out 93 times for the team. And while we can count certain facts, the emotions shared with this extraordinary group of women is infinite. The most recent came just a few days ago, in the Italian Super Cup when the team swung aloft the trophy. This was just another big step taken together, with our ambitions already set on bigger targets.
