20 June 2023
The domestic season may be over, but the action continues for national teams across the globe. On Monday, 19 June 2023, Juventus players were only involved in friendly matches, with Leandro Paredes scoring a superb goal in Argentina's 2-0 victory over Indonesia, while today, Tuesday, 20 June 2023, several official matches are scheduled.
Three Juventus players will be involved in qualifiers for the upcoming European Championships, namely Filip Kostić with Serbia, and Arek Milik and Wojciech Szczesny with Poland. All three have been involved in international friendly action over the past week as Serbia emerged as 3-2 victors over Jordan while Poland beat Germany 1-0, with Szczesny in superb form in that encounter.
The stakes are raised in tonight's continental qualifying action, where Serbia line up against Bulgaria and Poland take on Moldova, with both matches kicking off at 20:45 CEST. For both national teams, it is their third match in the qualifiers: Serbia have a perfect record of two wins from two matches, while Poland currently sit on three points from their first two encounters.
Two Bianconeri will also be involved in friendly action, as Juan Cuadrado's Colombia take on Germany at 20:45 CEST, while Danilo and his Brazilian side face Senegal at 21:00 CEST.
