From Tunisia to Turin to take in the Juventus Stadium experience firsthand. A special result in the Coppa Italia was witnessed by a cohort of special guests on Tuesday night as players and staff from the Juventus Academy in Tunis descended on the Stadium for a night of top quality football.
The visit marked the second occasion on which the Tunisian black and white delegation has checked in at Juventus HQ after taking in another crucial home win over Roma in December.
With over 400 children on its books, the J|Academy in Tunis continues to go from strength to strength, standing out not only for its quality coaching on the field but also its ongoing commitment to charitable causes and integration.
One such initiative saw Academy staff take the Juventus experience to the suburb of El Kef for an afternoon of football, education and fun with over 60 children taking part.
The site in the Tunisian capital is just one of several Academies abroad to participate in the “Gioca con Me” scheme – developed in collaboration with UNESCO - a program with gives disadvantaged youngsters, who would otherwise be unable to attend the Academy for social and economic reasons, the chance to train the Juventus way and gain a first-class education both on and off the field.
