Sunday, 13 October, was a day to remember for the Juventus Women’s First Team, claiming a 2-1 win over Roma at the Allianz Stadium that was as important as it was special. It was the first time the Bianconere played a Serie A match at the Allianz Stadium since 2019.

Barbara Bonansea and Sofia Cantore got the goals for Juventus, and Estelle Cascarino and Emma Kullberg also stood out for their excellent performances at the back.

  • Juventus’ win on Sunday was their 16th over Roma in all competitions - only winning more times (17) against Fiorentina.
  • The BIanconere have scored in 16 straight Serie A matches against Roma, and have only managed longer scoring streaks against Sassuolo (17) and Fiorentina (18).
  • Sunday’s win was Juventus’ ninth straight Serie A success, not managing a longer run since winning 36 games on the bounce between February 2020 and January 2022.
  • Estelle Cascarino, who assisted Barbara Bonansea’s opener, has more assists than any other Serie A defender this season with her three.   • Sofia Cantore scored her sixth goal of the season, and she is Juventus’ top scorer this season (six goals) with at least twice as many goals as any of her teammates.
  • Beyond her goal, Sofia Cantore was the player to have had the highest pass completion rate of any Juventus player against Roma in the final third - 90%.
