UNBEATEN RUN – Juventus have never lost against Russian opposition in European competition in eight previous encounters, winning seven and drawing one game while scoring 18 goals and conceding just three. The Bianconeri’s record against Zenit St Petersburg includes a 1-0 win and 0-0 draw in their two previous match-ups.
THREE’S A CHARM – Juventus will be looking to win their first three UEFA Champions League fixtures of the season on the trot for the first time since the 2018/19 season, in Massimiliano Allegri’s previous stint in charge.
NO WAY THROUGH – The Bianconeri have recorded victory in their previous four Champions League Group Stage fixtures without conceding. Two of those matches were away from home, including a memorable 3-0 win over Barcelona and last month’s victory over Malmö with the same scoreline.
FEDE FORCE – Federico Chiesa has scored in each of his last three Champions League appearances for the Bianconeri. The last player to score in four consecutive matches in the Champions League for Juventus was Mario Mandzukic, in October 2017.
