After a 3-1 win in the opening Coppa Italia fixture against Citadella, Juventus complete the initial group stage today, Sunday 8 January, against Brescia.

TWO FROM THREE - Although both sides defeated Citadella by two goals, a draw will suffice for Juventus Women to qualify from Group B to the direct knock-out phase of the tournament.

MAIDEN EXIT - Juventus Women have met Brescia once before in the Coppa Italia, in season 2017/18. Juve exited at the quarter-finals through the only goal conceded by the Bianconere in their maiden cup run, scored by then-Brescia forward Valentina Giacinti.

SWIFT REVENGE - That same season in Serie A, both teams concluded the campaign on 60 points. The play-off that decided the destiny of the league title was won 5-4 on penalties by Juve in Novara after the game finished goalless over 120 minutes.

CUP MOMENTUM - Since losing to Brescia in May 2018, the Bianconere have lost just won other Coppa Italia tie, winning 18 of their 21 fixtures and have lifted the trophy twice.

FIVE-TIME FINALISTS - Brescia have won the Coppa Italia three times in club history and have finished runners-up twice. The most recent victory for the club from Lombardy was in season 2016/17, before Juventus Women were founded.
