SAMP SUNK – Juventus have won eight of the nine Italian Cup matches against Sampdoria, including all five played at home, scoring a total of 28 goals (an average of 3.1 per match).
KNOCK-OUT BLOW – In the four editions when Juventus and Sampdoria have competed in the knock-out phase of the Italian Cup (1957/58, 1959/60, 1960/61, 2001/02), the Bianconeri have always qualified for the next round.
20 YEARS AGO – The most recent meeting between Juventus and Sampdoria in the Italian Cup dates back to the Round of 16 in December 2001, when the Bianconeri won 5-2 at the Delle Alpi stadium thanks to goals from Enzo Maresca, Ciro Ferrara, Marcelo Zalayeta and Nicola Amoruso with a brace.
15 YEARS IN A ROW – Juventus were last eliminated in the first knock-out round of the Coppa Italia in 2005 (vs Atalanta). Since then, the Bianconeri have passed the round 15 times out of 15 in this phase of the competition.
SEVEN UP – Juventus have conceded just two goals in their last seven official matches at the Allianz Stadium and have kept a clean sheet in seven of their last nine home games in the Italian Cup, conceding only three goals.
COUNT ON KULU – With three goals and three assists, Dejan Kulusevski has taken part in six goals in five matches for Juventus in the Coppa Italia, including scoring and the decisive pass in the 2-1 win over Atalanta in the final last May.
