FIVE STAR - Juventus have now won all of their last five Serie A games at Empoli, after having won only four of the previous eight meetings, and stretched their current unbeaten away run to eight matches in total.
B LINE - After failing to be involved in any of his team’s goals in his first 12 Serie A matches against newly promoted sides, Dusan Vlahovic has now taken part in 11 goals in his last eight games against teams that have arrived from Serie B with 10 goals and one assist.
CASTELLANI CROWN - Vlahovic has become only the second player in Serie A history to have scored for two different teams against Empoli in a single campaign, after Krzysztof Piatek in 2018/19 (Genoa and Milan), but the first to do so with both goals at the Castellani stadium.
HEADING HOME - Moise Kean has now scored in both of his matches against Empoli in Serie A after the winner in March 2019. Furthermore, he netted with a third consecutive header despite having scored only one with his head in his previous 12 goals.
HALF CENTURY - Against Empoli, Matthijs de Ligt celebrated his 50th win in Serie A. The central defender reached the milestone after just 78 appearances in the top flight with Juventus.
