Andrea Stramaccioni says his men will not be found wanting for motivation when they line up against league leaders Juventus tomorrow afternoon.
The 39-year-old, in his first season as Udinese boss, believes the Zebrette need to show plenty of heart if they are to upset the odds and end their three-month winless run on home soil.
Speaking to the media in Udine, he began: “We’re really up for it and we know that tomorrow we need to show as much drive as possible and have our fans right behind us. Courage and pride will be key.”
After Carlos Tevez inspired the Bianconeri to a 2-0 triumph when the sides first met this season in September, Stramaccioni claims he will be instructing his troops to keep tabs on his movement in order to prevent history repeating itself on Sunday afternoon.
“He often plays as an extra midfielder to drag a defender out of position, as we saw in our first meeting this campaign. He’s also very good at picking up the ball and setting off a long way from goal. We need to keep a strong eye on him throughout the game.”
In addition, Massimiliano Allegri’s propensity to freshen things up from a tactical perspective will also present another challenge for the former Inter boss to overcome.
“Juventus are tactically very flexible, for example in defence. Allegri often changes things up formation wise, but we’ll try and face up any tactic he decides to go for.”
