Monday 3 October 2022, Gonzalo Higuain emotionally announced that he will hang up his boots at the end of the season.

Currently at Inter Miami, El Pipita has won a lot throughout a career that has seen him wear the shirts of Real Madrid, Napoli, Juventus and Chelsea. With our jersey his trophy count reached five: three Scudetti and two Italian Cups, to which he contributed with goals and performances of the highest level.

Many, many goals.

Grit, determination, class and a poacher's instinct. In short, this was Higuain at Juventus and throughout his career.

Juventus - Fiorentina | 2016, a thrilling debut

Juventus - Fiorentina | 2016, a thrilling debut

Just over two years ago, in September 2020, we wished him farewell like this.

Gonzalo's adventure at Juve began in the summer of 2016, with a great impact: he was the top scorer and most used player in a season that ended with the conquest of the Scudetto and the Italian Cup, a double which was repeated the following year. And since his debut, dated 20 August 2016, Higuain is Juventus' second-best scorer in all competitions, as well as the sixth highest scorer in the Champions League.

Pipa, from the beginning, was able to enter the hearts of the Juventus fans thanks to that irrepressible desire to be decisive and find the back of the net. That same desire, which allowed him to score a decisive goal on his debut, was also fielded this season, on his return to Juventus after his experiences in the shirts of Milan and Chelsea. It was a return undergone with the same enthusiasm as his arrival: in search of goals, and always being ready to adapt to the needs of the team.

In two words? Thoroughbred striker - one of those players you always want to have in your team. A real driving force, as well as an example for the younger players.

How many goals did he score in the black and white stripes, all of them important, each for its own particular reason?

Juve fans fell in love with Gonzalo, whose crucial goals made that bond even deeper as he helped write unforgettable pages in Juventus history.

So, we won't mention one goal in particular, because we want to see them again! All of them, together with you!

This is our thanks to El Pipa, who we wish good luck for his future.

Every Gonzalo Higuain Goal!

Suerte, Gonzalo!
