It was a well-deserved party to enjoy together at the end of an overwhelming season. "It is true, we did well to make it seem easy, but it was not,” declared Wojciech Szczesny after he swung aloft the Scudetto trophy at Allianz Stadium – the theater of the celebration #W8NDERFUL.
“It’s one thing to be the strongest, it’s another to triumph on the field. We were good at winning the direct matches and the important games, all while being 20 points ahead with 10 days to go. This is why today we are happy to raise the cup.”
‘Tek’ then spared a thought for Barzagli and Allegri: “Barza is a crazy player, I believe that in the history of football there are few defenders like Andrea. Even as a teammate, as a man, he was always an example. I am sure that he will always remain our friend and we will see him often at the Continassa.”
“Allegri? In these five years he has been a perfect match for Juventus. He knows how to manage the group in a perfect way with a great experience and so he never lost the Scudetto. Congratulations to him, we love him and we send him great wishes for the future.”
Before he finished, he ranked this season’s performance. "It would be 10 if we had won the Champions, I want to give myself a nice 10 next year, then..."
La Roma di Di Francesco e la Roma di Ranieri: difficilmente, pur con i tanti cambi di tecnici che caratterizzano il nostro campionato, ci si trova di fronte a una squadra che nella prima parte di stagione differisce così tanto dalla seconda per impostazione di gioco da parte dell'allenatore. Di Francesco e Ranieri sono diversi soprattutto su due punti (nonostante il sistema di gioco, il 4 2 3 1 sia stato utilizzato da entrambi): pressing alto da parte dell'ex mister del Sassuolo, difesa bassa da parte dell'attuale tecnico giallorosso; costruzione da dietro e uscita palla al piede da parte di Di Francesco e lancio lungo a cercare le punte per quanto riguarda Ranieri.
Nella gara d'andata la Roma ha messo in difficoltà la squadra di Allegri nei primi minuti cercando con attaccanti e centrocampisti, ma anche con l'alzarsi dei terzini, di inibire la costruzione del gioco della Juventus che infatti quel poco che ha concesso ai giallorossi lo ha fatto proprio da situazioni di palla persa davanti ai propri sedici metri.
Di contro però la stessa Juventus è riuscita non solo ad impensierire ma anche a trovare il gol vittoria sfruttando la volontà della squadra ospite di costruire da dietro anche se pressata. Molti palloni sono stati persi dai giallorossi e la Juventus con maggior cinismo è riuscita a sfruttare una di questi segnando il gol della vittoria, ma altre avrebbero potuto essere le possibilità di fare gol, sempre partendo da un recupero alto e arrivando così velocemente al tiro.
